SPAN Joins Key Stakeholders at the 2025 ECOS Fall Meeting in New Mexico

The Sustainable PFAS Action Network (SPAN) sponsored and participated in the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS) 2025 Fall Meeting, held in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The event brought together state leaders, federal partners, and key stakeholders for in-depth discussions on how to drive policy that fosters cooperation and coordination in environmental management.

As part of SPAN’s commitment to fostering constructive dialogue between policymakers and industry stakeholders, SPAN hosted a breakfast roundtable with representatives from states that SPAN has been active in. The conversation centered on how states are addressing PFAS policy and how industry partners can contribute to shaping and implementing effective, sustainable policies.

The roundtable provided valuable insight into shared challenges and opportunities across state lines. SPAN emphasized the need for clear, consistent, and forward-looking policies that protect human health and the environment, while also maintaining a strong economy and fostering innovation in America.

SPAN’s participation in this year’s ECOS meeting showcases its continued work to represent industry stakeholders in thoughtful, solutions-oriented policy discussions. SPAN remains committed to finding a path forward that effectively and responsibly manages PFAS while protecting human health and the environment and strengthening the competitiveness of U.S. industry.
